ITAHARI: The RTRK Hotel School situated at Itahari in Sunsari is running various vocational trainings pertaining to hotel industry.
It was initially established as Hamro Talim Rojgar Kendra in 2068 BS and turned into RTRK Hotel School in 2073 BS. All the courses conducted in RTRK Hotel School is recognized by Council For Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), of Government of Nepal. The Founder and Managing Director of the RTRK Hotel School Mr. Prem Tumbapo states that the school is running short term certificate level courses such as three months General Cook, six months Commercial Cooking and Baking, three months Food and Beverage Service, three months Bakery and Pastry training, three months Bar Tender, Special Naan Tanduri and House Keeping training. In addition to the aforementioned courses, The school is conducting many other vocational trainings such as three months waiter and waitress training, culinary art, barista skill and room division management. The school is even providing diploma level courses like Professional diploma in Hotel Management along with Professional diploma in culinary art also.
The RTRK Hotel School is providing its students with the facility of paid internship of six months to one year in various reputed hotels and restaurants in Nepal and abroad as well. Numerous students from The RTRK Hotel School has served in various five star hotels in Nepal and foreign countries like India, China, UAE, Thailand, Netherland and other countries of South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middleeast Asia as well as in Europe as an intern. The school does provide job placement assistance in for the students who performs well during the internship.
