Kathmandu, Jan 1: The CPN (Unified Socialist) is going to convene a meeting of the politburo on coming Monday at 11 am.
The meeting scheduled to take place in the party's central office at Aloknagar in Kathmandu will chart out the future course of action.
According to party Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada, although the meeting of Standing Committee was held on Sunday, no decision was made in the meeting about the how the party would move ahead in coming days.
The same agenda will be discussed in the Monday's politburo meeting, informed spokesperson Khatiwada. "The Standing Committee meeting concluded today. No notable decisions were made in today's Standing Committee meeting. Some issues will be divulged only after tomorrow's politburo meeting," shared Khatiwada.
The politburo meeting will also deliberate on taking a decision on whether to join the CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'-led government or not.
"We aspire to take the lead to bring the leftist parties together. There has been no discussion about forging unity with any parties at present. Tomorrow's politburo meeting will come up with the party's formal stand on the Prachanda-led government," he informed.(RSS)
