Kathmandu, Sept 13: The body of CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson and Chairperson of Constituent Assembly, Subas Chandra Nemwang, has been taken to his Baluwatar-based residence from the UML headquarters.

Nembang died on Tuesday morning due to a heart attack.     

Secretary at the CPN (UML) Publicity Department, Gagan Bista, said the mortal remains of Nembang, kept at the party office, Chyasal, have been taken to his residence.     

Relatives and family members would pay last tribute to the late Nembang as per their family tradition and religious culture at the residence. Nembang's body was kept at the party office till 1:00 pm today from Tuesday afternoon to pay of last respects.     

The final rites of Nemwang would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat at 11:00 am on Thursday with state honours. (RSS)
