Kathmandu, Nov 17: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, has directed officials at the Ministry and subordinates to speed up performance.
In his address to a meeting of senior officials of the Ministry and subordinate bodies on Friday, he directed them to provide an overview of the progress achieved in the first four months of the current fiscal year. He sought results and assured support in resolving any issues that may arise during the execution.
According to the Minister, a conventional approach will not yield expected results. He underscored reflection of integrity and responsibility on the part of secretaries, joint-secretaries and department chiefs.
On the occasion, the officials were urged to pay heed to the implementation of projects of national pride, mega projects and the project in the government priority. (RSS)
