Kathmandu, Dec 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said the government is preparing to embark on the next round of battle against 'big scams' of corruption to promote corruption. 

In his address to a local-level party cadres' meeting and training organized by the CPN (Maoist Centre), at Tarakeshwor today, the Prime Minister also the party central said," The government efforts against corruption and for good governance continue. "We are preparing to open files concerning severe cases of corruption," he said, underling the need of collective efforts to make the campaign to promote governance a success.     

He took time to highlight on the government's investigation against the fake Bhutanese scam and other irregularities. "The move is historic as this- degree of action against corruption was never taken in history."     


Mentioning that the process of social justice had been carried forward with the aim of resolving the problem of loan sharking and citizenship and bringing workers at foreign jobs and at informal and self-employment under the scope of social security, the PM said claimed that many work had been done in social justice and good governance.     

Efforts had started to resolve economic problems by holding an extensive interaction with the ruling and opposition parties, economists, the private sector and stakeholders, he said. "Earlier small projects took place. Now, big projects will commence," he said.     

With this motive, big projects like the Karnali Chisapani and Budhigandaki will begin soon, he added.     

Stating that the Cabinet meeting today made an important decision on the Budhigandaki project, the PM assured that the foundation stone would be laid for the project soon. (RSS)
