Kathmandu-An overwhelming number of 460 participants registered for the Talent Hunt of
Nepal Premier League (NPL) organized by Chitwan Rhinos at Chitwan Medical
College, Kailash Nagar, Bharatpur.
Out of the 460 registrations, 35 names were shortlisted for the second round of
Talent Hunt which will be held on Sunday at Gautam Buddha Namuna Ground. The
final names will be confirmed on the same day after the second stage trials.
However, the names will be revealed on Monday in a program organized by Chitwan
Rhinos in Chitwan.
Rhinos’ bowling coach Kalam Ali, veteran batter Sharad Veswakar and technical
analyst Rajan Shah coordinated the first round of the talent hunt.
The chairman of Chitwan Medical College Dr Harish Chandra Neupane, Chief
Executive Officer of CMC Mr Pratap Devkota, president of Metropolitan Cricket,
Mr Manish Sapkota, Vice president of Bagmati Province Mr Prem Chhetri,
President of Cricket Association of Chitwan Mr Sudip Piya, former Nepal cricket
team Captain Mr Raju Khadka and director of Bagmati Cricket Mr Anil Adhikari
graced the event with their presence.
